Accounts Receivable Specialist

Ledgent Accounting & Finance is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a growing organization in St. Petersburg, FL. This role is ideal for someone with experience in invoicing, billing, account research, and vendor management who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys resolving financial discrepancies.

Pay: $50,000

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Manage billing processes and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Research customer accounts to identify and resolve payment issues.
• Reconcile account balances and investigate variances.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and support collection efforts.
• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing and payment processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Experience with account reconciliation and financial research.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365.
• Previous experience supporting vendor relationships and account management.
